The removal is a common mod on many VAG cars as it increases power and improves mpg

I had loads of issues with the DPF when i first got my FL2. But, touch wood, since the last software update I haven't had any issues. So I would advise everyone to just check the ECU software is up-to-date. I wasn't ever able to find out what specifically changed with the new software but i suspect it was the limits that caused the premature DPF warnings. (either that or I'm going to have a big issue soon!) |
