Up until now I'd decided not to post this, however, as I am now on my 5th high level lamp, I thought it was time to share as there is possibly an issue brewing.

I have a 2010 my and this weekend I have just experienced a leak whilst washing the car. At first I thought the door seal was leaking when I found water on the boot cover, then I noticed the water running down the rear window.

This is the problem you see, because im under warranty, its better on my pocket to let them sort it.....however 5 replacements and a bag of wet work kit later i'm still no better off!

Just smear some sealant on the seal, your not "No Nailing" a shelf to a wall, you can gently pry it off easily, you only have to break the seal if you need to change a lamp, not that I had to with either of mine. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

This is now sorted, it was a small 'O' ring seal that doesn't appear on the parts catalogue for the repair. All sorted, good as new......apart from them losing a trim clip in the boot double skin so it rattles now!! Doh!! 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto
