Hi, drove landies since 1986, series 2a diesel to start then 3 RRs and a 300tdi disco. Went japanese in 2006 as FL2 not out ( suzuki grand vitara ) 185,000 faultless miles. Traded for late 2010 Frelander facelift model, stop start etc.
Love it and average of 42 mpg, 44mpg at good cruising speed today on motorway.
Only problem on second tank of fuel ,gauge started misreading which led to me finding your site.
Helpfull advice which i will leave a note on that thread

Hi about to collect fl2 hse grey auto tomorrow. Have previously owned a 200 tdi and currently have 2 300tdi's.
First on in current daily use is a P reg 120k mile manual -which will soon be sold, the other an M reg awaiting surgery on the sills. This one has the dreaded peeling dash but again is a 120k miler. Drives beautifully and will make a superb base for refurbishment- it lived in the lake district so it needs front end bits replacing -like battery tray and headlight plates -

Hi, Just got a 2008 XS to replace a 2002 TD5 Discovery, so thought I would join up for help, advice and a wee bit of banter. Also got a 1980 SIII SWB truck cab that I used for trialling but is now laid up. Got a 2 page spread in LRO a few years ago following full body off restoration, the SIII - not me !!!

So I will be along shortly to ask lots of stoopid newby questions.

Just like to say hi to my new freelander family out there.

It's taken a few years but I'm here now eventually got myself an 07 TD4 SE in black just a few days ago. I have a few questions/issues that I will post/ask over next few weeks, and I hope to join in and help out myself as I gain more experience with my freelander I have already read all the user manuals back to front and been subscribed to land rover owner for last 3 years. I'm Looking forward to doing a bit of green laning next year got a little list of them to do from magazines I've collected.

Hello everyone, its about time i said hi. signed up a week or so ago been browsing the forum doing research and getting loads of info before i picked up my first ever land rover last weekend.

its a 57plate 2008MY Freelander 2 HSE baltic blue

bought it for my better half as she needs to be 100% mobile during bad weather so placing a lot of faith in the freely..

got a couple of minor issues but the garage said the will sort them for me this week..
