After watching fake Britan once,it put me of buying cheap. A woman bought a cheap iPhone/iPad charger and plugged it and after sometime later it set on fire. OK it was the plug part that set on fire but like I said it put me of buying cheap.

Update: just got home and it was here waiting for me. Plugged it in to the iPad, got the 'bloop' noise, battery meter changes from black, briefly to green, then to back to black and I get the message 'Not Charging'. Looks like Won Key Guy's done me!

Strange. It works in my wife's Ipad. Only difference is that my one is a 3G one but that shouldn't make a difference, should it? BTW, my one is 98% charged and hers is only 19% charged so it may be that. I'll let mine run down a bit and try it again later. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

My finding so far after an hour an half since I plugged it in... Seems to work okay but it's a little slow on charging if I'm on it.... could be due to the 3M cable - but if I close the case for stand by it seems to charge just fine  BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

Just got mine, it works with one charger but not the other? I have also noticed that when I plug it in sometimes the battery symbol goes green sometimes a message saying not charging, in the case pull out the RH side of the plug a little and push back in, it goes green, obviously something in the cable that the device must recognise.

Which iPad you got, if it is latest one it will only charge if it sees enough power, with a cable of 3 metres it might be a bit low to power it.

Plugging mine into my laptop with the normal cable won't charge, is it something to do with the version of USB?  MY2014 SD4 XS

Just got mine, decided to risk all of £1.99! Received just 48hours after ordering, it worked fine 1st time, both with the iphone mains adapter plug and from the PC USB port, well happy thanks !for the link ('Archaic' iphone 3GS if that's makes a difference) Kola is the big solid black German Shepherd, Dobbie is.......a breed you've never heard of......yet;)

Stopped using mine, it did work but the connection was a little fiddle diddle and I didn't wanna chance breaking my charging connection on my iPad.....
