I have had a couple of these won kee cables for a while, just the standard length ones, the ones I have will charge the iPad ok and will charge an iPhone 5 but will not charge the 5s  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Apple 's. Tying you into their products, what would happen if fuel went the same way, certain stations with embedded chips so you have to fill with 'branded fuels'.
It's all about control, Apple are controlling their customers, thin end of the wedge...robotics are coming, then if you buy the wrong lead, your Apple branded robotic vacuum cleaner will find it and dispose of it.
