I've got the longer cable and for some reason when I use it for charging my iPhone it take's ages to get any power in to the phone, not sure if it's the length of the cable or it's just a cheap crap cable.

I have some hooky cables, just the standard length and they too take longer to charge with, obviously some jiggers pokery going on with the cable, Apple locking people in and ironically forcing people elsewhere to buy them.

It can also happen with none Apple Cables, get a message on the device saying its a Non Apple Product and may not work correctly, some how a cable is not just a cable it seems. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
