Hi, I have ordered a new Freelander 2 TD4 GS as it was nearly as cheap as a used one a couple of years old. When it came to finding a car in stock they where all the new MY2014 model, but the dealership where unable to find out the difference between the 2013 & 2014! Can anyone help?
They know that current FL2s TD4 GS now have leather seats, but that was introduced on MY2013.

There hasn't been much info about 2014MY because the differences between 2013 and 2014 are fairly minor and I think are down to a couple of different paint colours and some variations in interior trim.
Don't expect too much to change now until we see the replacement model.

Latest indication I had is late next year/early 2015.

I'd be worried if a dealer doesn't know the differences between model years!!
