United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Fuji White
Bottom door trim

Anyone had problems with the bottom door trim falling off.
Came back from a short trip today to find the bottom door trim missing on the nearside front door.
All the yellow clips are still in place and none broken.

I lost mine on a tough off road trip that included about 6 water crossings. I also lost the little front section that clips around the front wheel arch. I don't think it is attached all that securely. Mine did have good reason to fall off, I would be peeved if it came off from normal driving. Are you sure it wasn't nicked while the car was parked?

Could have been nicked , it was left in Tesco car park for 1/2 hour, but none of the clips are broken and are still in place

Only ever seen them pop a couple of connectors after off roading or kerbing. They are designed to come off reasonably easily but if all the connectors are undamaged I'd put my money on it being removed deliberately while parked.

New door moulding fitted, after seeing how it is fitted, it definitely has been nicked.
Fixed with silicone along with the clips
