That was the same procedure on a Vauxhall Cavalier I once owned. It also reset the safety window release when resistance was felt making the window go back down a couple of inches. I showed someone that 'safety feature' as I was driving after reconnecting the battery and NOT carrying out the reset procedure. Nearly lost the tips of my fingers! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
