LED sidelight bulbs

I bought a couple of LED sidelight bulbs today. When I fitted them they flickered.
I have been told I need 'error free' bulbs. What is the difference, and can the
ones I've got be adapted somehow? Big Cry 2013 Dynamic Santorini black

You can buy resistors to "slow" the signal down that will stop the flicker, but Canbus bulbs (resistor already fitted) are cheaper than the resistors! Paul Redding

Canbus LED's work fine. But, I had a set of "white" lamps taken out and replaced by an MOT tester as they appeared too "blue" when compared with the H7 Osram Nightbreakers in the dip and main beam. So I just spend 10 minutes before and after MOT tests swapping the LED's out and in.

That would mean BossBob that all Citreon DS3's will fail their first MOT given the brightness of their side lights compared to the yellow of their dipped. Surprised

Just telling it how it happened. I'd chosen the whitest LED's I could find but the halogen nightbreakers still look slightly yellow when directly compared.
