Sunroof

Please can someone tell me if my electric sunroof on my freelander 2 should retract all the way back rather than 3/4 of the way, thank you.

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Just popped out to open mine to see,
it goes back until the glass is level with the blind leaver
Leaving around 4 to 5 inches showing

Thank you. I'm sure mine went right back so it was level with the roof however Land Rover are saying this is normal. I wondered if there were different models of Sunroofs and therefore operate differently?

England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

Same sunroof has been fitted since launch in 2007 and it has never fully opened and as Slaneydore says it leaves about 4 to 5 inches. Based on experience of 2007MY, 2011MY, 2012MY and 2013MY.
