United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey
Has that time come?

I am thinking about selling the Freelander. The main reason is that both the Mrs and I want an auto and I have about gone as far as I can with this now and need a new project.

So if anyone is interested, I'll be putting a for sale notice up in the classifieds. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I know the auto will use a little more fuel, but we are only doing about 7500 to 8000 miles a yea, so it won't make that much difference.

We are in no rush, but to be honest I think a 2013MY HSE maybe a little beyond what I want to spend. a nearly new one is do-able but I am not willing to go over a certain budget.

I have been looking and look at this for a comparison :-

September 2012 62 HSE SD4 Auto with 4600 miles on it for £28500 (2012MY)
November 2012 62 HSE SD4 Auto with 9000 miles on it for £32450 (2013MY)

I know the 2013MY is the better car, but I can't see that it is £4000 better for a car that is only 2-3 months newer.

The other option is the Dynamic, but what will I lose spec wise over the HSE? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

You'll never regret going over to auto - and I bet you never want to go back.

Manual gearboxes are like starting handles. Used to have one, know how to use it but don't want another!

If God had wanted us to use a clutch, he'd have given us three feet. Right foot means Go, left foot Stop. Seemples Thumbs Up Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

The only reason I didn't have an auto on this one is because LR had only just launched the Auto TD4 when we bought ours, and we were buying a 6 month car. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
