Thanks SakoQuad. I will refer this to our local LR dealer and see what they say again. When I explained our problem to them, they said that they had not heard of it! Seems unlikely doesnt it.

It's a shame you had to wrestle the correct result from Lr, rather than the drop off / pick up all sorted sir you would have liked.

Mine has Lr extended till oct 14, then I will change to after market my vehicle warranty , all is covered and at a reasonable cost when compared to Lr .

That would be an option, but all I read is aftermarket warranty company's don't pay out, bit like LREW Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Got the same problem. 57 reg, gauge just drops not running correct. Is there a how to for this? Are these connections inside or outside the tank? Thanks Andy |

Will more fuel in tank help with this?

Mine has just developed the same problem. TBH it has done it twice over the last year. The tank is full but on start up the guage reads half full. I have brimmed the tank tonight and its made no difference. On previous occasions it sorts itself in a week or so, but this time it has been the same for about ten days. I have the extended warranty but fear the same response...computer says no. _________________

lets be honest, there is no such thing as a dealer only repair.
