The gas Volvo i6 engine was used in SE/HSE models between 2007-2012 (in some countries). It was also built in a Ford plant but originally designed (and used) by Volvo. I believe all TD models are diesel.

If your worried about 0 - 60 times you'll have to look at a gas /petrol powered Freelander 2.

BTW: According to LR, the i6's 0-60 is 8.4 secs.
So not much in it at all compared to the other models. Begs the question: Why the bigger brakes on the i6 ?

I always use Shell V-power 98 Oct. it makes the engine nice and responsive and with better mileage Very Happy

i4 and i6 variants receive bigger brakes probably due to internal engineering standards as a result of the higher max speed.
