The heated steering wheel stays on until you turn it off with the toggle switch to the right (where your phone controls are on an MY2012). I have yet to use it, as it's still summer to me! Foraging near Gaydon....

I specified the heated steering wheel, it's the best 」175 I've spent. It's not been really cold enough to try it out properly, but there is a slight chill in the mornings when leaving for work at 5.00. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I have both since last november and used it quite a lot. The steering wheel heating was on almost daily in winter time. It heats up very fast and gets very warm at the beginning (which is good as I usually have cold fingers when I get in the car) and then reduces to a decent temperature so you don't sweat. I would order it again, no doubt. MY2013, 2.2 TD4 SE fuji white

Two stage heated seats stay on till you switch them off, had the heated wheel on a couple of courtesy FL2's and it is definately worth having - even if just for five minutes to take the chill off the wheel. Dont have it on my FL2 but next years X3 has heating steering wheel and 3 stage heated front and rear seats Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

Ah ok. Thought you were going to experiment by fitting to an earlier vehicle. In that case it's 」175 very well spent! |
