No, it's not Silver.

I think my dealer have acted correctly, which of course in this day and age makes them wonderful. Hope it lasts Very Happy

Good see your dealer is putting it right Thumbs Up

Judging by the LR used car site your one is not an isolated case.

Glad it's sorted otherwise I would have gone into legal mode. Sale by description etc.

No such thing as sold as seen by the way LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Quite a few Land Rover owned HSE spec Freelanders were upgraded to have the premium leather seats fitted. It could well be yours in one of those and the Dealer took it to be an HSE Lux.

Being new to these parts I'm curious what position you're in with LR to be privvy to such information?

However, as I've already said on the thread my dealer checked the build spec of my car and the actual car and there's no doubt it is an HSE LUX and was built as such. At the end of the day though an HSE LUX is just an upgraded HSE and so if LR added the Windsor leather to some HSE's it would absolutely be possible to add all other LUX items and make it a genuine LUX.

Unfortunately though fitting the wrong seats to an HSE alone couldn't explain the lack of finisher issue as an HSE also cannot be specified with no finishers.

Appreciate all the ideas... it is curious how these cars have arrived on the market eh?

Does your HSE Lux have a rear spoiler?
Rear spoilers used to be standard on the HSE but from 2013MY they became optional on HSE and standard on the Lux.

True, just checked the configurator on the LR website and the rear spoiler is showing as an option on the HSE Lux.
Pretty sure when the HSE Lux first came out the rear spoiler was standard.

Davebee - you may find that some of the great informers on here are not going to suddenly uncloak themselves for you as their employers may be looking. Just so you know jobs can be at risk not necessarily about information about your post but with other posts on here. We tend to support rather than challenge on here. Cool

I can't speak for MY12 cars but I have the pricelists of MY13 cars, both when it was launched and current and the rear spoiler isn't shown as standard on an HSE or HSE LUX in either of them, only the Dynamic. Optional on HSE and LUX, and others, since the launch of MY13. Of course the factory may have fitted some with one, heck, they fitted some with no interior trim finishers after all Laughing

Who was challenging? If I want to know how someone might state a 'fact' I will ask, that's not a challenge! It's a question. If they want to tell me then that's fine, if they don't, that's equally fine... all is good with the world Very Happy

Mexico 2013 LR2 2.0T HSE Lux Auto Havana

At least in the configuration to Mexico, all Freelander HSE come with spoiler and Lux Package is optional; this includes: Windsor Leather, Premium Sound with 17 speakers, piano black finish and I do not remember missing something. However in Mexico, they limit the colors and options. I had to make a special order, to have mine in Havana with Lux package, because usually they do not sell for this territory and therefore have had to wait four months (not terrible).
My Freelander, is the only Havana in Mexico until now Cool and very few with the Lux package. Thumbs Up Yuri

Its probably the only havanna in the world!! Never seen one on the road or even for sale at a dealer in the UK. I think it is because it commands a premium cost over the other colours when ordering.
