United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue

I have heard very good reports about them....and some absolute horror story's about their other branch in Coventry on the A45. Amazing that they can be the polar opposite of each other isn't it?

Back on topic, I have yet to have any issues with either of mine in the 30k miles that I have covered in the last year. I became a Freelander owner a year ago this coming Saturday, and wish only that I had considered one a lot sooner than I did! Foraging near Gaydon....

My 1200 miles since April looks pitifully - looks like i need to get out more Whistle
the misses will soon sort that out has the evoque is going today couldn't see the point in keeping hold of it.. I drive my van all day at work so my freely is just sitting at home..so we may as well have the one car and Emma can use it to drive to and from work... And yes i will be checking it every night when i get home Laughing BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

You will never catch me there ever again. If it was the only dealer in a 300 mile radius I would still rather fill up the tank and drive to another dealer. (Coming) 2016 RR Evoque td4 180 HSE Dynamc

2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

I will also be happy to chime in here.

I drive a 2010, its been to Norway twice (from sweden) up europes highest road, through forest, across military fields and outdriven novice defender drivers witnessed by the whole swedish landrover club - pretty much done everything I asked of my defender before it. However in more comfort, and with less oil on the driveway.

Never had a problem other than water ingress around the high level brake light on the boot with a pressure washer, and once in deep snow my wheel sensors had a momentary WTF issue..

2008 XS did almost 100k miles up to jan 2103. Yes I had a clutch and DMF, also a diff nose bearing but apart from that it never missed a beat and supported my consultancy business and home life perfectly. Newbie 2013MY in Jan is about to have first service (16,000) and apart from needing an intermittent instrument panel tizz sorting and wheel balance query, it's all perfect. I did an interim oil change at 9,000 (every 7,500 in the previous one) and do frequent levels and prefer checks. We go off-road with mountain bike events and orienteering as well as visiting daughter in law's parents farm.
Am I a happy owner - you bet! Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
Gone... 2008 (09MY) XS Td4 Manual Stornaway Grey

Also gone in Nov'13, after 7.5 yrs, to new owners with time for more TLC - 1980 Series III 88
Current 2015 Discovery Sport HSE 2.0
