Just tested the new seat , fits great with loads of space, I've also fitted a mat under and behind it to protect the cars seats.
For any other expectant parents its a maxi-cosi cabriofix with an isofix base, So nice and secure without having to fiddle with the seatbelts. Young George will travel in style and safety whilst travelling in the style and safety of a black fl2

ISOFIX all the way (well untill they grow out of Group 1 seats anyway)

I had a slight problem fitting a Britax / Roemer ISOFIX plus seat when fitted to my FL2, the plasic protectors used to prevent damage of the seat fabric from the ISOFIX catches would not fit the FL2 ISOFIX points, the seat fitted fine but I did not want to damage the seat fabric so I modified the plastic protectors a little. I will post a picture over the weekend. Strange that it was the anchor points causing the problem after all they are supposed to be ISO fix, i.e. an industry standard.

Ive learnt from various sources that isofix is anything but standard, it is a great idea but has a way to go yet. To be standard all cars seats would need the same length and angle. For example see how my car seat leans backwards in the fl2 I'm sure ideally it should sit flat? At work

Looks like you've made a big error - your folding caravan is supposed to tow behind your car, not sit on your back seat !!

I suppose its got an awning and little people will go to the toilet in it so its a bit like a caravan . But there again its cool comfortable and safe totally unlike a caravan  At work

Trying to get back to topic

I have uploaded the pictures of the bracket that have to be modified for the Britax Isofix Seat Protectors (that come with the seat) when fitting to a FL2. The protectors push the seat cloth or leather way from the metal Isofix latches on the seat.

These brackets are optional, they are not needed in my wife's Toran for example, but will protect the car seats from damage, so woth the little effort modifiying them from your FL2. All you need do is cut back the area I have pointed to with the red arrow. Carful when cutting them, cos the plastic is made from strong stuff.

George, I'm amazed that you were able to test the seat......................... are you a midget? How can you reach the pedals and other controls if you can fit the babyseat? How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
