Probably another LR but definatly not an LRX as I cant see any reason for buying a mini Freelander. However I will also serioulsy consider the new BMW X3 replacement (when it is released) against the LR competition in 2.5-3 years time. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

I think LR built the FL 1 for about 6 years so that in about 4 years the FL3 or a different FL2 is due.

I will probably return to a normal non 4X4 car once we don't need quite so much room for baby stuff. But would put LRX on shortlist too.

I don't think I'll be buying another LR, therefore my vote reflects this. ______________________

I made my choice on the looks and the write ups i have read on the LRX, i think it does look nice now as a "concept" car, if it rolls of production and looks the same, and the size is suitable along with no silly price tag, it will be my chosen car,

Just read the blurb, including: With the rear seats folded forward, two mountain bikes can be fitted upright behind them, with front wheels removed and stored in dedicated slots in the floor. Alternatively, skis and surfboards can be accommodated in the generous load space, which has multiple tie-down options and a through-loading option. Now the LRX starts to sound interesting, especially as the Premium interior will be loads better than the LR2 with proper full leather hopfully I wanna vote again as I guess if the price is write, it may be on my wants list in 2.5 years time - I could even wait a bit for it if it will really be as described in the blurb 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
