No, the D5 will have a flat back and higher roofline, than this render which is more " styled" and fits the Disco "sport" tag be banded around.
In all probability it will not be anything like the Evoque, therefore logically it will be a restyled Freelander/Discovery cross, it ties the two brands but also keeps them quite distinct.
I quite like the render for what it is, it promises to be a very good vehicle and Land Rovers clever use of an Evoque mule will keep us guessing for some time yet.
I doubt it will be long though before heavily camofloiged models appear on test somewhere.

These renderings really mean nothing. They are just design studies. I have been involved with the motor industry too long to take any notice of these sort of tags. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
