Hi Everyone,

As some of you may know, I had a test drive today in the new RRS, and I was seriously impressed. The gear change was extremely smooth and the steering felt more responsive than the FL2. The cabin was a lovely place to be, the panoramic sunroof lets light flood in and the dashboard looks awesome with the digital speedo!

I am very tempted to place an order, but I will do some sums and have a long think about it first. The other alternative would be to wait a year and buy one that is a few months old, but I don't know if I would be able to wait that long!

I will try and avoid black this time because I fancy a change. I think that having a black Range Rover is too common!

I'd like to swap the wife's Freelander for one but she says they are too BIG for her

I really like my Freelander, and it has been faultless over the last year. If I were to place an order, delivery would not be expected until about March, so I would keep the Freely for another 6 months. I will do some figures and come to a conclusion!

The one I drove was an HSE Dynamic in Santorini black. I would choose the Dynamic over the HSE but I don't think I would use the Sport mode that much and I don't like the black grill and side vents. I would rather spend the money on something else.

Saw my first one on the road today, looks nice. I sat in dealer for an hour today while I was waiting for my one to get checked over and out of all the cars sitting my eyes were drawn to the Discovery that was sitting, I was very tempted to ask for a test drive but realistically I think I will be looking at the next Freelander, big enough for my needs.

I'm a bit disappointed with the sports colour choices, there isn't much bright colours to choose from. It was a black demo my dealer had sitting. Loire blue looks nice though.

The wait will be the worst part, I know when I was waiting for the Evoque it was hell, I had to wait 6 months everyone else on BabyRR was getting theirs and mine was delayed, got a very large and expensive Christmas hamper though It should have arrived at the dealers on Christmas Eve but eventually picked it up middle of January. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I have looked at the Disco, but it is too boxy and dated for me. RRS all the way.

The Disco is perfect If you need the space, if not its just a waste. That's part of the reason I've never went back to one.

My salesman was sitting doing nothing and so was the Sport demo, I should've asked him for a drive just out of curiosity. I've driven them all, but need to get the new RR and RRS to add to my collection, I like to try everything incase I'm missing something .

I believe one member on BabyRR has ordered a 5.0 supercharged one.

I loved it the cabin really felt luxurious. Have a test drive, you won't be disappointed! It's a shame that its so expensive!

Yes, I have noticed a new member on RRSport who currently has an Evoque. He has ordered an Autobiography Supercharged. I bet that cost a bomb!

As a serial murderer of wheelbarrows, I have had many in my time, and this barow was the latest in a long line of former barrows.
The first thing I noticed was the lack of packaging - great for the environment and less for me to dispose of afterwards.
The instructions are simple and clear, and it took me just short of an hour to fit the whole of it together. Had I had someone with me, that would have been much less time, but there is a little balancing act to do as you juggle wheel, nuts and frame. But other than that, it is very easy to assemble, and looked quite sturdy.
The next day it was used and abuse, and I have trundled it on sharp gravel, uneven surfaces, and it has had about five tons of stone lumps into and out of it over the period of a week or so, and not a dent in sight. It carries everything easily, and from the (ab)use it has had over its first seven days, this barrow is going to be long lasting and a delight to use.

Sounds a good Barrow, which one was it, I'm on the look out for a good one  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I think it was a Bristol easy load, made by the Walsall Wheelbarrow Company, the only domestic company making wheel barrows

Come on Chris, where's a real report, seat adjustment, driving position, engine noise, suspension, dynamic ride characteristics,
Boot space, rear passenger space, visibility, instrumentation, brakes the list goes on and all we know is, it changes gear, steers and shows the speed as a number

Ok, ok.

The driving position didn't feel much different from the FL2, but when I looked at the dash, it really felt how a range rover should be.

The 3.0 SDV6 engine had plenty of power and was extremely quiet, and the start stop was a nice feature.

The suspension was a little harder than the FL2, but there was no body roll, and it felt more planted on the road.

The boot was a decent size and the electric tailgate is a nice feature.

Acres of room in the back, quite a bit more than the FL2. The heated rear seats are a nice touch, too.
