Windscreen cover

Just wondered if any one knew if this could be done on the insurance!!
My screen seems to be coming away along the top that you can just about see in the image below if you zoom in
It seems to be lifting from the black seal along the top Rolling Eyes

And it seems to be getting worse

I have windscreen cover but before I give them a call and they say no I'm not covered for this kind of thing. I can't really crack it my self then call back as it would look a bit suspect , so I was wondering if any one on here knew if something like this would be covered for a replacement on the insurance Question BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

Don't think it will be covered by your insurance, just be careful as screens with this sort of problem are prone to getting hit accidentally with a hammer Whistle p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I have the same delamination on the whole top right side of the windshield and some around bottom right.
Ugly indeed... I've been told the Jaguar is suffering from the same thing.
Pilkington seems that is not what it used to be... "First in glass"... Bullshít...

My Jaguar XF wind screen was Delaminating when I sold it, some on the XF forum had managed to get there dealerships to replace them but mine was an 08 plate and there wasnt much chance and as I was selling it it wasnt bothered but yes it looks un sightly and can spoil the looks Sad HSE TD4 Stornoway Grey ★ Rear Spoiler ★ Black Leather Interior ★ Panoramic Roof ★ Navigation with Bluetooth ★ 19 " Alloys ★ Alpine Stereo 10 Disc Auto changer and Ipod connection and lots of other nice toys ★

if you go down the insurance route this will be a claim and have to be declared for the next 3 years,

when i had a Audi i loaded a long ladder from the top of the dash out the rear of the car BUT as the dash is higher up than the boot floor as i lowered the ladder down it went through the windscreen Big Cry Thud 1995 P38 now dead

Was with Esure till recently, they were never bothered regarding Windscreen claims and when I took insurance out with Admiral recently, they were not bothered by claims on Windscreens, said they didn't count, but Speed Awareness Courses's did Confused p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

but you did the right thing and notified your insurance company its up to them if they count or not, the question is (have you had any claims) best to declare it up front

i am insured with LandRover and on the policy it says claim history windscreen but has not affected the cost, it just closes a door for a get out clause if i have a proper claim 1995 P38 now dead
