Just wondered if any one knew if this could be done on the insurance!!

Don't think it will be covered by your insurance, just be careful as screens with this sort of problem are prone to getting hit accidentally with a hammer |

I have the same delamination on the whole top right side of the windshield and some around bottom right.

My Jaguar XF wind screen was Delaminating when I sold it, some on the XF forum had managed to get there dealerships to replace them but mine was an 08 plate and there wasnt much chance and as I was selling it it wasnt bothered but yes it looks un sightly and can spoil the looks |

if you go down the insurance route this will be a claim and have to be declared for the next 3 years,

Was with Esure till recently, they were never bothered regarding Windscreen claims and when I took insurance out with Admiral recently, they were not bothered by claims on Windscreens, said they didn't count, but Speed Awareness Courses's did |

but you did the right thing and notified your insurance company its up to them if they count or not, the question is (have you had any claims) best to declare it up front
