I didn't get one with mine. Maybe I will order a new car just for the voucher? |

Interesting as it was of the R&D guys at Gaydon that told me about the 2016MY launch. Suppose they could show it in early 2015. The Evoque was shown as the LRX is 2009!
I am not so sure about the current Freelander not being desired. They are still on 24 hour Freelander production. The thing about LR products, is that they have always had a good knack at being able to keep a model going for longer and still be wanted than any other manufacturer. Have to say, I did consider getting the Evoque - but did not like the restricted view out of the rear. Glad I went for the FL2 as it has more space for loading in the boot and I can get large items in due to the high roof line.

Sorry got lost in my train of thought in previous post - what was I thinking about Oh yeah, does this mean that if the new FL2 is based on the same platform as the Evoque the people who tow might have to start driving around in RRS or D4s?

There 100% won't be a replacement for the current car and then a new one in 2016. The new car is the L550 project and will be seen in mid 2015. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Dealers tend to be the last to know what is going on, but they are right in this case that the freelander will discontinue after the current model finished production in early/ mid 2015.
