In my old 61 plate gs the was only one hook for the floor mats,this being driver one.is this right that the my 13 have hooks on the rear floor ,2 each side,and also front passenger floor has 1 hook,.......to accommodate the genuine LR mats!.?.....I'm looking for mats and may not go for genuine ones this time as like the ones on lr direct that have a 1 inch lip and cover mote carpet,as in and out with hunting/ fishing with wellies on.....if I buy non genuine ones ,the hooks may cause a bump in the mat as they can't sit flat .......... Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. MY13 courtesy FL2 i had a couple of weeks ago had them front and back. I was wondering why there was a huge bump in the middle of the rubber rear mat thinking someone has left a wallet or purse under there - sods law it was just a hook!

I will have to cut,...drill a small hole for them,,,to sit flat,,as I'm having nutmeg carpet I want the coverd up more,,,as the LR rubber ones don't offer the same protection as some other makers,,,,I'm surprised LR haven't charge extra for these or a option,......like the front fogs on the gs,...£305 please sir if u want them....  Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. My 2011 HSE has them in the rear, passenger side and drives side. (Same as Badgers)

Mine has them all round. I bought genuine LR mats but mine only have a hole in drivers one
Britpart rubber mats have extra bit to cover foot rest area.

My MY13 has 2 hooks in each footwell front and back. The mats supplied by the dealer took a bit of fitting as the markings for the holes didn't match up with the hooks, but I got there in the end. Joanne

Seems landrover a putting these hooks on may 13 onwards freelander but sill supplying the dealers with mats without the hook holes my dealer said just cut them off with a sharp cutters,,,really are a pain in the arse anyway,..the matts don't move with out them anyway.. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. I bought some second hand rubber genuine mats off flebay for my MY13 Freelander. These came without the holes in (apart from drivers) so I marked them, drilled holes in the mats with a 8mm drill bit . Now fit perfect.
