There is at least one car mat supplier on flea bay that will cost 1/3 to 1/2 (depending om quality chosen) of the genuine mat price and will supply their mats with the holes in the correct places based on which year Freelander one has.
I boughta set of the cheaper ones for £32 and they are not bad at all. No metal Land Rover tag though!

...on e bay...they were £69.99 inc post,.....made by britpart,...there's nothing wrong with the previous gen LR ones but as I've got light carpet this time,and wanted more protection as these cover more floor area ESP in the rear ones plus they have a lip all round ,the are listed as winter mats/ over mats. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

Just picked up my new one on Sunday and they wouldn't give me any mats ! I've bought some LR ones at £93. a bit steep, but gets it out of the way whilst everything's new. All other accesories are coming from ebay !
LR don't seen to throw anything in for free even after spending that much money with them !
