I think there was a plan to have the diesel and petrol engines denoted by grill style... but it was dropped. A number of prototypes were snapped by press etc (inc LR) and published. |

I agree with the writer of the original post that there were two different types, saw one fleetingly the other day. Looks more like a honeycombe. Perhaps someones dealer might know ? |

Hi you get a different type of grill when you order the body kit, it looks like the grill from the range rover sports HST. You can see what it looks like on the landrover site under accessories |

Simon not doubting your comment for one moment however transman stated he saw one the other day looked like honeycombe this has to be the body kit one I have the bodykit fitted when i get five i take a pic of grill and post |

I am sure I've seen a picture of a Freelander 2 with a grill same as the on on the RRS. It was cool, but I haven't seen it again anywhere since then. If I remember right it was a modification for a rally/Paris Dakar version. Anybody know sth about this? |
