Front grill

Hi everyone

I have seen pictures of Freelander 2 with two different front grills: one that looks a bit like RRS and another which looks more like Freelander 1's. Is that an option, or do all cars come with the RRS like one?

They all come with the chrome RRS (sort of) style. Thumbs Up

I think there was a plan to have the diesel and petrol engines denoted by grill style... but it was dropped. A number of prototypes were snapped by press etc (inc LR) and published.

I agree with the writer of the original post that there were two different types, saw one fleetingly the other day. Looks more like a honeycombe. Perhaps someones dealer might know ?

Hi you get a different type of grill when you order the body kit, it looks like the grill from the range rover sports HST. You can see what it looks like on the landrover site under accessories

I always thought I would go for the 'old' front over the meshy 'Range Rover Sport' grille that's standard - not sure why Confused "CY from DISCO3"

I am sure I've seen a picture of a Freelander 2 with a grill same as the on on the RRS. It was cool, but I haven't seen it again anywhere since then. If I remember right it was a modification for a rally/Paris Dakar version. Anybody know sth about this?
