Still just as bad, also noticed that the offside arm hits the bonnet and has rubbed through the black into the bare metal.

I know someone who also did Rain X'd his screen after fitting new blades, he used cellulose thinners, followed by white spirit and also replaced the blades. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Might have to try Mr.Spirit in the morning then, it's got to go in anyway for a new passenger door seal (this will be the 2nd failed seal) and the wiper arm rubbing at the bonnet.......

For some owners this is the harsh reality of owning a Land Rover. I've been lucky my D3 had all the problems, the other 4 have been fine. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I had similiar problems with juddering and smearing after replacing original wipers with a set of Bosch ones from halfords.

Well, I've solved the problem. Knowing that my windscreen was the cleanest in the land I knew it was either wiper or mechanism related, I had already changed my screen wash from one with 'rain guard' added.

Mines due for new wipers. Will probably get some Valeo ones and see how it goes, if not will have OEM ones fitted. |

Thanks, I have heard that the Bosch ones aren't great on the FL2. Am I wrong? |

The Michelin ones are cheaper than the LR ones, if they perform better and last longer you've got nothing to lose. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
