We did the LRE at Coniston 2 weeks back, you spend about half an hour on road, they checked my paper bit as well as the card,

If you get James he is a good bloke.

I have taken mine in the past and they never asked to look at it

Enterprise car rentals have a telephone number they call to check licence details, if needed maybe that could be a option, not rent a car but call the dvla whilst there Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Well....

They said no. Apparently they'd recently caught someone out who had signed the disclaimer when they had been banned for drink driving. Since then their insurance company has forced them to be very strict.

Since they couldn't return the voucher and it was raining and we had nothing else to do we went out with Adam on an instructor only demonstration. Extremely impressed with the FL, quite amazed at what it can get up, down and over.

Annoyed with myself though and very disappointed, particularly for my other half who had suffered through the shooting in the morning thinking she would be having some fun in the afternoon.

Have a word with Liam at Land Rover and expalin what happened, you never know and if you don't ask you don't get

It's a great course at Coniston, the steep climb out of the river bed is awesome
