I forgot mine recently on a Kielder trip, got the neighbours to go into the house, photograph it and explained at the event what had happened and it was accepted from the image on my iPad screen.

You will be asked to sign a disclaimer, part of which relates to the number of points on your licence (if any). Usually if you sign to say you have no points/no more than 6 points then you will be fine.

Thanks all for your reassurances, guess we'll find out tomorrow. Neither of use have any points so hopefully it will be fine.

But LRE requirements for insurance stipulate you need a full licence, no more than a handful of points, iirc at least 21 years of age and a licence holder for three or more years, might be wrong. RichardK will know. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

There might be some better positioned to answer this than me...but I've done 3 LRE and I think only once we've been asked to show the paper bit..or even the plastic bit. You will be spending time on the public roads Hope it doesn't cause you a problem - enjoy the session! |
