I have a problem with both the drivers and passengers seats on my 57 plate SE.
The leather on the door side of each seat has split.

Does anyone have suggestions as to the best way to resolve?
Can it be repaired or am I looking at replacing?

Photo has rotated during upload, it is the cushion not the back that has split

It was a common problem, mostly repaired under warranty, yours being an 07 will be out of luck

A good auto trimmers will be able to select leather of a good match and stitch a new side panel in HOWEVER it would probably be a waste of time on its own as the seat foams will have sagged. You need to buy two new seat foams from Dan at Duckworths and take these with you to the seat trimmers.
Yes its not cheap but wow you will be really pleased with the new seat foams support!!
The seat bases apparently come out of the seat frames without actually remove the seats themselves, check out Mavs postings.

I am still looking for a passenger LR sidestep........

hi davec1960 I swapped my seat cushions over but you will lose that seat belt sound from passenger side only
