Audio upgrade

Hi,

I consider upgrade my midline audio to highline - found few threads about this but without any useful conclusion. My first question is if the result is worth the effort - anybody has personal experience with both of them ? Or should I just upgrade my OEM speakers (only have them in doors and a subwoofer) ? If I want to upgrade to Highline do I need to replace the amplifier ? Anybody knows if the wiring (dash and D pillars) is prepared ? I welcome any other comments and personal experience. Thanks M.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

Hi there, I'm no professional with this but ripped all my Alpine system out and replaced with highend system including the sub. No point replacing unit unless you upgrade the speakers to get the full frequencies. Would recommend 2 amps to drive at different frequencies. Mine was done at an Alpine specialist fitting company who specialise in very difficult fittings like the canbus wiring. Am blown away with what they transformed in my feelander Very Happy
