United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

Hi, its likely to be natural errors in the panel pressing operation. The rear quarter panel is a design artists dream and a manufacturing engineers nightmare. I am making pressed panels at home for Austin J40 pedal cars with home made tooling and press; wherever you try and stretch metal from the flat sheet it pulls stress in all sorts of directions leaving odd creases and bits that have excess metal that pings if you push it.
Take a closer look around the LR oval badge and you will see more odd reflections indicating pressing errors.
Where FL's do show warning signs is on the upper raised roof section above the rear side windows. A front shunt can briefly tweak the whole body and leave odd marks in this panel even though it is at the back of the car. I looked at a good number of written off FL2's before buying my 'straight' FL at auction and saw these odd marks on a number of specimens.
Kind regards from Fred 2010GS Auto ex Celeb, Santorini Black, 2011 facelift , spoiler, spats, mudflaps, LED footwell lamps, Witter detach,

If you have an Austin J40 or Pathfinder Pedal Car looking for a new home pls PM me.

If you really like perfect bodywork you ought to be buying a Rolls Phantom and spending 250 grand for it, we're talking Land Rover here which is a bit rough a**e to start with.

It's ok mona a rolls won't fit in my garage lol.

Theres no problem when done in forming process, would have been well annoyed if someone had opened a door into it.
