A very good video. Frankly theres only one thing you should be doing while driving - and thats driving.

I have a car kit but its there to receive calls which is rare on my own phone so I know they could be important.

My company do not give out car kits now with the view you should not be calling and driving which I think is a better way.

What does annoy me on the road though is the amount of 'expensive' cars on the road and the owner cant be bothered paying for or using a car kit so drive around with their phone stuck to their ear at high speed.... grrrrrr

Not only people on the phone saw some guy sitting at the traffic lights the other day having a shave must have been late for work, but this was topped off by a women who passed me while looking in her drivers door mirror putting lipstick on and she had 2 kids in child seats, I was doing 30 passing a fixed speed camera and she just sailed past not a care in the world HSE TD4 Stornoway Grey ★ Rear Spoiler ★ Black Leather Interior ★ Panoramic Roof ★ Navigation with Bluetooth ★ 19 " Alloys ★ Alpine Stereo 10 Disc Auto changer and Ipod connection and lots of other nice toys ★

So many cars these days have Bluetooth connections that it more a case of laziness than anything else. The fine is not much more than the cost of a Bluetooth radio, needs to be increased to at least £500 and 9 points my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Every case of texting whilst driving should mean a court appearance on a charge of dangerous driving. Automated fines and penalty points give the impression that it's not really important, just seen as a cash cow like speeding. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

My car can't interact with my Samsung Galaxy S2 without an expensive trip to the stealers.

It's probably cheaper to get a new phone 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black

I had to get a new Bluetooth module for my car when I got her - bought a new part from ebay (genuine part from a LR dealer who deals online) and then got it fitted by my local indie, so saved about £200 from the stealers quote)

There is a guide somewhere on here on how to change it if you are up to the job to save yourself even more money.

Mine now works a treat with everything that I have thrown at it including a Galaxy S2, so it worked out cheaper than buying a new phone in the end Thumbs Up

I have found that i can and do go through life without any need whatsoever for a mobile phone...
I had one in bt cellnet days then got sick of the "where are you?" calls and have not had one since....
Try it, you might be unslaven from the horrible things. Laughing

Drinking down the A3 today and went past a window company van which was wandering in the road, I expected to see someone on the phone but to my horror ( I was sitting in a high cab ) he was steering with his knee, texting in his left hand and eating a sandwich in his right hand !!!! If only I had a passenger with a video that would of been poetic justice.

They really do need to clamp down on this phone issue whilst driving,
