There is a park in Huddersfield that has been hit twice within the last two weeks by travellers. They have on both occasions broke the lock on the gate and the police apparently are powerless to stop them!! If it were any normal person breaking and entering they would be up before the local magistrate, the country is going to the dogs!! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker. Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White. |

Maybe not powerless but the police have handed it over to the council. They are on council land so need to be evicted. The local paper was making out that the police can't do anything about it. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Defo civil offence for eviction but criminal damage at a park is within jurisdiction, no issues there. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
