Slaney, I might be wrong and if I am has anyone got the correct answer but I thought there was a tolerance on speed limits/fines of 10% plus 3mph meaning you've got to do 36 in a 30 to get points? Sorry for going off topic! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I know what you mean about dangerous speeding but it will become a cash cow for anyone who is caught a couple of mph over the limit. It sounds like its going down the same route as parking fines now! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Yes, which usually means if caught at 34 your speedo will be near 40.

If you read the policy documents of the various cheap policy's carefully you will find that most of them have a clause stating something along the lines of "We may use non OEM or reconditioned (IE. second hand parts) when repairing your vehicle after a road traffic collision". Land Rover insurance actually state in their documents that they will always use OEM parts. Bill T. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years.
