I appreciate I have mentioned this on my own thread, but thought I would make a thread of its own as its likely to be an issue others have.

The supplied socket button screws with the Powerful UK Spoiler rust fairly quickly, this may cause some staining to the boot metalwork and any rubber seal it runs onto. Myself and Slaneydore have had this happen.

Screwfix sell the exact same fixing but in stainless.......and slightly longer so will require shortening by 3-4mm. I trimmed 3-4 threads off mine. Fairly quick job then run through an M6 bolt to clean the threads.

- Socket button screws A2 stainless steel (M6 x 12mm) Pack of 50 - £2.84
- Flat washers A4 stainless steel (M6) Pack of 100 - £2.52
- Delivery next day (£5)
- £10.36 job

I did contemplate cutting to size and selling to forum members as a kit, with a 50/50 split to the forum pot and myself, but for the actual price of a large number of them. You might as well buy your own with the price of me sending out by royal mail postage etc.
