I do that with my age when asked, "How old are you Sir" ...... "Thirty Sixteen" usually followed by a confused expression from them Laughing

Petrol stations with a large convenience store.
It takes Doris 10 minutes to remove the fuel cap.
Then she does some shopping without haste, then nips to the loo to change her Tena pad.
Takes her another 10 minutes to find her purse at the till.
Upon getting back to her car, she is oblivious to the large queue she has caused at the pumps.
She then realises she's forgotten something so nips back into the shop Evil or Very Mad Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

You've missed the bit were she then gets in the car to drive away, has to make sure the bag is in position, check her hair in the mirror, then dig out the Lippy, touch up the hair, get comfy, back to the bag for the keys, put the seat belt on, start the car, check her hair in the mirror again, restart the car as it stalled Evil or Very Mad p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Then of course there's big guy who pulls up at the pumps while finishing a call on his mobile phone thereby taking 10 mins trying to get out of his car.
Finally after working out which fuel he should buy, premium or standard, he creeps to the shop to pay.
Before getting to the cashier he selects a nice large sausage roll and loads it into the shops microwave to warm up.
While waiting for his sausage roll to become edible he reads the papers/mags but then decides not to buy one, plumping instead for a large packet of crips and a bottle of diet coke.
Finally he makes it to the cashier and pays.

Oblivious to the queue behind his car he gets back into his vehicle and carefully places his purchases on the passenger seat and into the drinks holder before checking his comb-over in the reaview mirror. Only then realising he has left his keys on the cashiers desk and has to go back in to retrieve them!

... And as he drives away the petrol cap falls from the roof of his car. Joanne

Sorry, but edible is not a term you can apply to a sausage roll which has been heated in a microwave. It's just not ... Exclamation

P.S. Do people with comb-overs actually know how to use mobile phones? I'm not sure they've evolved that far...

I like a nuked sausage roll, it's less chance of putting crumbs all down the front of you and the additional lashings of brown sauce perfect

Can't get on with those Rustlers Burgers etc though were you heat up everything Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I was told, if you don't put fuel in they will charge £1.25 a litre which is cheaper than the fuel pumps, the excess cost will be on the slip they gave you down the right hand side from memory Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
