As far as I know Chris it's original trim, I can't find anything in the paperwork to suggest otherwise. |

It could be aftermarket as normally the lower part of the dash is the same colour as the leather.

Good point J77. When Almond is chosen the lower part of the dash is a cream colour. |

No heated seats or leather steering wheel which comes with the leather interior.

Oh all right! This was taken just up the road from where I'm lucky enough to live, and has had a filter effect applied to make it a bit more dramatic. |

I'm not one for messing about with a car's appearance, so the only thing I've visibly changed is the tax disc holder, to one that's a bit more subtle. Apart from that there's a dash cam, Garmin satnav, and a rubber-backed mat in the boot. Despite tongue-in-cheek comment elsewhere regarding the chrome tail piece I do think the new one looks more modern apart from the chrome - I don't like chrome, particularly when it's the only bit of chrome on the car. I quite like Jimski's idea (I think it was Jimski) of a de-chromed tail-piece, but to be honest I don't care enough to do anything about it. |

I've only changed my tax disc holder, added carpet mats, piano black grab handles and mudflaps. I'm not going to do much else to the car except for getting a blackvue camera and fitting some body side mouldings.

Yes, I agree, I think it's the best colour on an FL2. But then I would say that, wouldn't I AIUI the metal flakes in Lago were produced in a factory in Japan which was put out of action by the earthquake a few years ago, hence the discontinuation of the colour. I believe they're now being produced again in Germany and Japan, so it, or something like it, might return. It's quite spectacular when the sun catches it in just the right way, as it sparkles in all kinds of different colours, not grey at all. My only worry is, since the colour is discontinued, whether it would be able to be matched properly should the car ever need to be repaired for any reason. But hopefully it won't, or if it does there may be adequate stocks somewhere! |
