I use cheapo Halford Silicon Lubricant on all exterior vinyl and tyre walls and it comes up a treat - gets rid of the white wax residue from the plastic bits as well.

You can probably tell that I don't take this cleaning malarky to seriously. Whistle MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

My first go at a "proper" wash. Cool

I just washed it with Turtle Wax Zip Wax. When I come back from Spain I will wash it again and apply some Turtle Wax Color Black to help remove the swirls. Embarassed

To be honest i'm not a perfectionist but I felt a little shocked when I saw the state of the wheels, I was thinking nice car then looked down at the wheels and thought Evil or Very Mad ! My wife says I spend too much time on this forum, this cleaning thread is starting to rub of on me!! Shocked Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

It wont remove the swirls i'm afraid. Just fills them in temporarily. The only way to 'remove' them is by machine polishing. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
