Well I didn't get my Fl2 machine polished as planned , instead I did the wife's. The car was thoroughly decontaminated using Powermaxed iron remover and all the bottom half was sprayed with Autosmart tardis tar remover , this was followed up by claying using Meguiers claybar . After a thorough rinse and dry next up was machine polishing using the full size Dewalt rotary and the Shinemate mini rotary for the tricky bits , first stage polishing was taken care of by the Sonax Perfect Finish and then the second stage was Meguiers M205 which really brought out a deep glossy shine , due to time constraints I didn't get time to put any long term protection on the car , instead I applied a coat of Sonax brilliant shine detailer which is very durable and gives 4/6 weeks protection . Tyres were dressed with Finishkare fk108as to finish.

Thanks very much. I've replaced the siphon hose with 6mm ID so it's much more manageable & put a hose snap on fitting on the bottom of the pipe which has a water stop valve so the water doesn't drain out of the hose. The neighbour saw the setup running & nearly kicked the bucket laughing, but thought it was absolutely brilliant.
