Oh dear, I looked at the X Trail before I ordered the XS Freelander but it wasn't a hard decision IMHO. MY 2013 TD4 XS Manual, Ipanema Sand. Cold Climate Pack, Spare Wheel, Side Mouldings, Armrest Pack, Rear Camera, Detachable Tow Bar, Spoiler.
Gone. My 2011 TD4 GS Manual, Cold Climate Pack, Front Sensors, Spare Wheel, Side Mouldings.

As it happens I bought my FL2 from a Nissan dealer! And at the time he also had for sale an X-trail of similar age and at a slightly lower price. I have to say it didn't really get a look in.

Personally I'm (now) one of those who prefers to let someone else take the hit of the high initial depreciation and buy at a couple of years old. It wasn't always that way, but after buying new a couple of times I decided it really wasn't worth the premium just for that new car smell! Point is, you're not tied to one dealer, particularly if buying used. It's worth travelling to find the good dealers - they do exist if you look hard enough.

I would rather pay the extra �450 than get an X-Trail. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
