Hi Chris , fab holiday thanks and tunnel tomorrow. Weather has been good and up too 38 , so enjoy. In 20 years of motoring in France and Spain and often for a month at a time never collected a mark on my cars. Italy is where bumper cars begin. , |

She went in today for repairs. I popped back a few hours later and the door was off the car. No other damage which is good news.

Cheers mate. If all goes to plan, it should not look any different to what it was before. Apart from the couple of stone chips on the door/wheel arch which will be gone! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Check and make sure they re rust proofed it, like cavity wax inside the door when you collect it. |

I feel like I go from one problem to the next. SO frustrating when you care so much for your vehicle. I go out of my way to park next to nobody else at the furthest corners of car parks but still these morons cause damage.

Know how you feel! I look after my car, blacking the wheels etc after every wash unlike some of my neighbours who think a sponge and bucket of fairy washing-up liquid will suffice.

Hopefully! My car is 6 months newer than yours, and I've already been crashed into and had the windscreen replaced. I've only had the car a year! (Actually a year tomorrow )

Tricky question! Lease runs out March 2014 so ideally would only want a 2 year deal so that I can change to the FL3 in early 2016 (as that comes out sometime 2015 by which time the first off the line will have demonstrated all the problems so LR will have them fixed in time for my 2016 delivery!!) That said do I want another FL2, love the shape and the recent updates but still feel it could have been more. If I went for one it would definately be a dynamic but think I would have to add the Plus pack to gain the HSE goodies - got so used to them I think i would miss them.

I have the same issue, I don't lease my cars but I would like to change before the warranty runs out. My FL2 is a September 2011 with 23,000 miles on the clock. I will probably end up buying a 6 month old HSE next year and keep it for 2 years then change to the FL3 once it's teething problems have been sorted out.
