My XS has been in dealers for 2 weeks - turned out sensor fault but whilst in Dealers I had use of two 2013 MY Freelander's

HSE SD:- Inside a huge improvement- Automatic a 'dream' - safer, smoother, car had 19' wheels ( mine has 18') on my normal roads amazed at how much smoother ride was. HSE had only 1700 miles on clock- MPG - frightening at 29/30 ( my man XS 38 average MPG) - this vehicle car was via LR Assist

I was then given a dealer GS TD Auto- again auto box made car 'safer' especially at junctions and smoother, MPG on this with just 200 miles on clock 32/33MPG

Whilst I was impressed with both vehicles- will not be spending £33k+ on what is now a dated body - will either keep mine 3 years instead of planned 2 years or consider Q5 BUT WITH AUTO BOX !!! 2011 XS,Sumatra Black, GONE MARCH 2014- RR Evoque Prestige 5 door ,MY 2014,Loire Blue, Silver Roof, Panoramic roof.

Freelander replacement due out Autumn 2014.

Audi Q5 most boring and uninspiring car I've had the misfortune to drive in the last 2 years but each to their own.

Audi SQ5 looks interesting though  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I had an A4 avant before the FL2, and I really liked it, but it was nearly 4 years old and I got bored with it, so it was sold to make way for the Freelander. SWMBO has an Audi A3, and we both agree that it's incredibly boring even though its a well built car with a larger engine.

I fancy an Alfa Romeo Mito, it will be my second toy.
