Its perfectly normal, it will work in those gears or in neutral without a problem |

It is disabled above a certain speed and if you press it, it doesnt suddenly lock all the wheels and pressing the accelerator counters it anyway.

One of the features demonstrated on the LR Experience is the fact that you CAN go downhill in neutral with HDC activated. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
