Manual Rangerover SD4 ?

hi Guys
So why do they now make the Range Rover SD4 in a manual but not in the freelander ?
Parked next to one today and noticed it was manual & had an SD4 badge on the back & the guy said yeah it was the 190BHP so checked on LR site and yes they do an SD4 manual.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

It was down to emmisions, as the manual SD4 Freelander would be too high. But rumour has it, the SD4 manual Freelander may be offered in the 2014MY which will be built from September.

There are a couple of Manual SD4 Freelanders kicking about at Halewood. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

hi bobtail

Yeah i did mention to the Range Rover owner that its just a rolled over freelander 2 with a party Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter frock on but the conversation ceased at that point as he seemed really insulted and just went Rolling with laughter

i think he thought he had something special and I don't think he had even associated the likeness until he was eyeing them side by side and then it seemed to sink in Very Happy

Having owned one, I can honestly say it feels nothing like a Range Rover, perhaps that's because I had two Fl2s before it so I noticed the similarities, but for me there is only one Range Rover. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

+1 on that j77.

I'd go back to a full fat Range Rover in a flash, if I could afford it.

I still have a 1971 Rangerover,
my mate has a new TDV8 last of the old shape, as he didnt want to wait the 9 month waiting list time,
but then ordered one for next year anyway, Rolling with laughter
