Thank you lespes, although not sure it helps, he has paid for the goods we have in our warehouse, what he hasn't paid for is the call out charges for other equipment we have repaired in the interim.

When dealing with this situation in transport and logistics several key facts had to be followed which may be applicable to yourself as as transport company we never owned the goods they were just shipped via us.
In your terms and conditions, and written notice was given within a timeframe ( 48 hrs from memory) that you had had held goods in leiu of payment.
