My very first 4-wheeled vehicle was a 1948 Ford 8 van that I had when I was at college in 1965. The back of that looked very similar to yours............ Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

So you have a mattress made to measure, for a camping trip, but were do you put the luggage, the cooking and wash stuff, if you store it outside you might as well just sleep in a tent

Do the same on one or two night stays or when I go to extreme locations where I cannot take the camper trailer/small van. I had an old mattress re-shaped to fit the FL2 shaping idiosyncracies and hand sewed a cover over it. I remove one of the rear seats (pretty quick and simple) and move the passenger seat forward to get enough leg room. It works well. The most important part is the use of "window socks" which allows air to move in and out of the vehicle. They also prevent mosquitoes, sand flies and other bugs from getting in. |

just don't double lock (deadlock) yourself in like i did one, especially if your going to drop the keys into the passenger rear footwell and set the alarm off at 3am in the morning on a busy campsite Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
