Just had a mobile fitter (family member) to fit me a Tow Trust detachable towbar with 13 pin electrics to my MY12 HSE manual. Put the 40A block fuse in the boot fuse box and use a 13 pin to twin 7 pin adapter lead as my caravan has 7 pin electrics. connected up, all working ok, no programming required as far as I can see, really neat job and looks smart. If anyone needs a mobile fitter in the Midlands area, he is a family member and would be happy to forward anyone on to him if required.

Just checked fog lights work ok, so as far as I can see, all is good to go.

Rear fogs if all working correctly should not work with the van attached p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I see. however, do not see this as an issue as would not be much point in using rear fogs with the van attached, other than giving the front on the van a nice glow! 2011 XS SD4, Indus Silver (Getting to love it more and more)

A few years ago I had a towbar fitted by the dealer to a Passat and when I collected the car the service book was on the seat with a sticker attached indicating that chances had been made to either the traction/stability programmes, maybe things are changed that arn't immediately apparent. |
